About Us
Our Story
We are a team of pet lovers who came close despite living in different parts of the world, all because of our love for pets.
I’m Joanna, and since childhood, I have had a deep affection for cats and dogs. Being a single child, I grew up around animals, and most of my childhood was spent with dogs and cats by my side. Over time, this affection slowly turned into a strong emotional connection with pets.
As I grew older, this feeling developed into a passion to do something meaningful for these little creatures. I joined several NGOs that worked for stray dogs and cats and spent time learning about animal care and safety. During this journey, I did deep research on what cats eat in particular and worked as a feline-focused content writer in a firm, where I learned more about cat nutrition and everyday risks.
On Instagram, I used to share photos of my cat and connected with some amazing friends, Pawan and Rohit, who were equally passionate about pets and animal welfare. With the same love and concern for cats, we decided to give this passion a chance and created Furrena with a simple goal — to help cat owners make safe, informed, and responsible decisions for their cats.
Cats are curious by nature. They sniff, lick, and sometimes try foods or plants that are part of everyday human life. While many online articles give quick yes-or-no answers, they often miss important safety details. Furrena exists to bridge that gap with clear, practical, and easy-to-understand information.
Our Content Focus
Our content mainly focuses on:
- Foods cats can and cannot eat
- Toxic and non-toxic plants for cats
- Herbs, fruits, vegetables, and household items that may affect feline health
Safety tips every cat owner should know
Every article published on Furrena is carefully researched using reliable veterinary references, pet nutrition studies, and real-world observations from cat owners. We try to explain not only what is safe or unsafe, but also why, so readers can make confident decisions.
Furrena is run by a team of pet researchers and cat lovers who are passionate about feline well-being. While we are not a replacement for professional veterinary care, informed pet parents can prevent many common health risks through awareness and education.
Our mission is simple
